Delete Cookies - Internet Explorer 7 (Windows Vista)


Cookies are text files stored in your hard drive when you visit certain Web sites.
They mainly allow for you to be identified. The Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 browser saves cookies on your hard drive.
The following steps explain how to delete cookies with Internet Explorer 7.

>> STEP 1/7
Click on Start Menu (the flag located to the lower right of the Windows task bar), then on Control Panel



>> STEP 2/7
The configuration panel appears.
Double click on the Internet Options icon.

NOTE: If the "Internet Options" icon does not appear, click on the "Classic View" link to display all of the configuration panel icons.



>> STEP 3/7
Internet Explorer 7’s option window appears.
Under "Browsing history", click on Delete.....



>> STEP 4/7
The "Delete Browsing History" window appears.
Click on Delete cookies....



>> STEP 5/7
A confirmation window appears.
Click on Yes.



>> STEP 6/7
The "Delete Browsing History" window appears again.
Click on Close.



>> STEP 7/7
Click on OK to close the "Internet Properties" window.



All of the Internet Explorer 7 cookies have been successfully deleted.
