Delete: Forms and Passwords - Internet Explorer 7 (Windows Vista)


Internet Explorer 7’s browser saves the data entered in the forms and the passwords of Web sites that you have visited.
Your personal information is sensitive data that we recommend you do not save in your Web browser.
The following steps explain how to delete your personal information in your Internet Explorer 7.

>> STEP 1/9
Click on Start Menu (the flag located to the lower right of the Windows task bar), then on Control Panel.



>> STEP 2/9
The configuration panel appears.
Double click on the Internet Options icon.

NOTE: If the "Internet Options" icon does not appear, click on the "Classic View" link to display all the configuration panel icons.



>> STEP 3/9
Internet Explorer 7’s option window appears.
Under "Browsing history", click on Delete....  



>> STEP 4/9
The "Delete Browsing History" window appears. Click on Delete forms...



>> STEP 5/9
A confirmation window appears.
Click on Yes.



>> STEP 6/9
The "Delete Browsing History" window appears again
Click on Delete Passwords....



>> STEP 7/9
A confirmation window appears.
Click on Yes.



>> STEP 8/9
The "Delete Browsing History" window appears.
Click on Close.



>> STEP 9/9
Click on OK to close the "Internet Properties" windows.



The data from forms and passwords saved in your Internet Explorer 7 browser have been successfully deleted.
